Direct Support Caregiver Job Details:
Located in Somerset, KY
- Must have open availability for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
- Weekends are required. You are scheduled two in a row with the third one off
- Hours are either 2:45pm-11pm or 10:45pm-7am
- Overtime is possible and is mandated as necessary
- Payrate ranges from $17.31-18.30/hr
- Shift differential pay offered for 2nd and 3rd shift
- $1.00/hr increase on weekends
Direct Support Caregiver Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable operating transportation.
Direct Support Caregiver Job Description:
- Provide around the clock care and supervision of residents with developmental disabilities.
- Provide caregiver assistance with a variety of skills such as hygiene, home management, leisure activities, and living skills.
- Assist with transferring residents between equipment.
- Follow and maintain all federal and state regulations and facility policies.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and the preservation of rights of clients.
- Completes and maintains a variety of documentation on every shift.
