Production Operator Job Details
Westfield, IN
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday | 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 per hour

Production Operator Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
- Experience operating production machinery to deliver high-quality products
- High proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices is a plus
About the Production Operator Role
- Accept and quality check production materials staged by material handlers (verify lot numbers, quantities, etc.)
- Load top and bottom canisters into conveyors per Grinds production standards
- Load coffee mix into stations per standards
- Load label materials (side, top, bottom) into the label station
- Operate the Checkweigher and Metal Detector per quality guidelines
- Set the “Best By” date accurately using the inkjet system
- Perform pre-operation inspections with the QA Manager
- Understand error indicators and perform proper corrective actions
- Accurately complete and submit QC documentation
- Clean workstations and prepare for the next shift
- Meet or exceed daily production efficiency targets
- Follow all food safety regulations and internal operational protocols
