As a Refrigeration Technician at Reddy Ice, you will be integral to our operations by ensuring that our refrigeration systems are maintained and functioning optimally. This role is essential in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality ice products to our customers across the country.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment and systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer needs related to refrigeration systems.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for inventory management.
- Assist in training new technicians on best practices for equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC/R systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment efficiently.
- Familiarity with field service operations and customer service principles.
- Valid HVAC certification or relevant technical training is preferred.
- Experience with appliance repair and equipment maintenance is advantageous.
- Basic plumbing skills are a plus but not required.
