Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of drivers to ensure efficient delivery operations.
- Plan and coordinate daily routes for timely deliveries to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Train new drivers on company procedures and best practices for safe driving.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff to manage product availability and loading schedules.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during delivery operations promptly.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Experience in freight transportation preferred.
