What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Reddy Ice?
POSITION PURPOSE :
This role accelerates business value by working in producing and / or set-up high-end ice sculptures, ice molds and cocktail ice.

Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for the safe operation and sanitation of highspeed production equipment such as meat saw, band saw, CNC machine and cocktail ice machines / molds
- May assist in the production of large ice blocks use in the creation of sculptures and cocktail ice
- May assist in the production of Ice molds for special orders or special events
- May assist in the production of Cocktail ice with the aid of machine or manual presses / molds
- Packaging of ice products for delivery
- May be required to assist in setting up ice sculptures for events
- Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity
- Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees
- Adhere to all rules and regulations, at all times
- Meet or exceed company safety standards
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
