POSITION PURPOSE :
This role accelerates business value by primarily being responsible for the execution and standardization of the Field Equipment Service strategy, including service and preventive maintenance across assigned regions and markets. The Sr. FESM partners with Operations leadership, the Director of Field Equipment Service, and local business unit leadership to drive productivity and improved customer satisfaction. The Sr. FESM has direct management responsibility for a team of Field Equipment Service Managers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assist the Director of Field Equipment & Service with ongoing field & supply chain teamwork to reduce both unplanned service calls and improve preventive maintenance across the region. Partner with regional and market leadership on all FES activities and execution improvements. Collaborate with corporate FES team, Commerical team, SRFESM’s and FESM’s from other regions on system-wide improvements and share / implement best practices. Track and assure all field equipment is yielding the designed EBITDA per asset. Support staffing models for FES targets at each location, in accordance with the strategic plans for the Company , help facilitate training and continuous improvement. Act as the point of contact for all FES headcount, light duty fleet equipment needs parts inventory and coverage for the assigned regions and markets. Work with locations on continuous improvement in all areas of company operational execution. Assist with FES SOP development and best practices for training. Develop and manage scorecards on metrics / KPI’s. Support field execution of and compliance to improved KPI’s. Work with Market Manager’s on improvement plans as needed. Manage and monitor FES expenses across the region ( Parts, vehicles, and labor costs). Responsible for all FES employee training programs and assist FESM’s with hiring process to insure we hire qualified individuals. Support and drive accountability to Company’s Safety programs and targets. Assist with training the Region’s Plant Managers, DC Managers, and FESM’s on equipment service compliance, and execution. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business, supply chain, finance or related field
- 10 years supply chain, manufacturing leadership experience or equipment service management
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Extensive local travel with overnight travel as required. Will often work in retail stores; drive among retail stores and to / from plant location. Must be able to lift 40lbs. Ability to climb ladder and work with light duty tools.
