Job Description
🎯 Role Overview
Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in the USA)
As a Senior ITOM Expert, you will play a key role in designing, leading, and delivering comprehensive ServiceNow ITOM solutions — including Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management, and AIOps. You’ll work closely with enterprise clients, Solution Architects, and technical teams to ensure best-in-class implementations that meet business outcomes.
🔧 Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Leading and delivering end-to-end ServiceNow ITOM implementations for global enterprise clients.
Designing and configuring Discovery patterns, MID Servers, and integrations with various infrastructure platforms (cloud/on-prem).
Developing and optimizing Service Maps, Application Services, and Dependency Views.
Setting up and managing Event Management and Health Log Analytics, integrating with tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.
Architecting CMDB structures, defining CSDM alignment, and ensuring accurate CI population and normalization.
Building and maintaining automation workflows that drive proactive IT operations.
Collaborating with internal and client-side architects, developers, and stakeholders.
Leading client workshops, requirement analysis, and knowledge transfer sessions.
Providing mentorship to junior team members and supporting pre-sales when required.
Qualifications
Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in the USA)
✅ What We’re Looking For:
8 years of strong, hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM modules.
Deep understanding of Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB architecture.
Proven experience integrating with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem systems.
Strong grasp of CSDM (Common Service Data Model) best practices and CMDB governance.
Experience in scripting (JavaScript), MID Server configurations, probe/sensor tuning, and flow designer.
Familiarity with ITSM, ITAM, or IRM/GRC is a bonus.
Must have ServiceNow certifications (CIS-ITOM or equivalent highly preferred).
Exceptional communication, documentation, and client engagement skills.
Prior experience working with USA-based clients or in a remote consulting environment is highly desired.
Knowledge of FinOps and Compliance is good to have
Mainline active certification is a must.
