SUMMARY OF JOB
The monitor technician identifies and documents cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias in the adult and geriatric patient. He/she notifies the proper nursing personnel of any changes in such, in order to provide safe and efficient patient care. Perform continuous cardiac monitoring with accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias and interval measurements.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Successful completion of dysrhythmia course
Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
Completion of annual stroke education
