What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Outreach and Education Specialist position at Redeemer Lutheran Church?
Plan August parent orientation.
Call parents in August, Update parent handbook, plan school year calendar--coordinate with Salem/Keizer Schools-get this approved by the Church Board of Education, Attend immunization training, handle immunization records, plan field trips, make monthly tuition deposits, prepare parent calendar , plan programs i.e. Christmas & Easter. Order supplies, prepare report cards, have two parent conferences throughout the year, Meet with Redeemer Board of Education each month & provide a written report. Attend a continuing education class paid for by the church.
Classes held Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 11:30 am. Teacher hours 8 am - noon.
Must have current first aid & CPR cards (paid for by the church)
