What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School History Teacher position at Redeemer Lutheran School?
Redeemer Lutheran School is a PreK - 12 Christian school in Verona. We serve 275 children and families from 13 school districts in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. Applicants should be active members of a Trinitarian church, and be comfortable sharing their faith with students and families.
Candidates will be expected to instruct students using current best practices in instruction, lesson planning, and classroom management, and work as a team to ensure readiness for high school. Classrooms are equiped with Smartboards, and students have access to chromebooks. Curriculum is a combination of secular texts and texts based on Christian principles and teachings.
