Redefine Healthcare seeking a highly qualified Motor Vehicle Accident Coordinator (MVA) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and fluency in both English and Spanish.
As a Motor Vehicle Accident Healthcare Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents by scheduling and coordinating their appointments and ensuring they receive the necessary care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule appointments for patients who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents, ensuring timely access to medical care and rehabilitation services.
- Patient Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing guidance and support throughout their treatment journey. Address any concerns or inquiries they may have and ensure they understand their treatment plans.
- Bilingual Communication: Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear and accurate transmission of information regarding appointments, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, including physicians, physical therapists, and other medical professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments, treatments, and progress. Ensure all relevant information is documented in the electronic medical records system.
- Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations, to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of patients to ensure they receive the appropriate care and support needed for their recovery from motor vehicle accidents.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in appointment scheduling or patient coordination, is required.
- Experience with patients who have been involved in Motor Vehicle Accident.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems and other relevant software applications, knowledge of ATHENA EHR is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
