Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leadership, communication, organization and efficiency in project management. This role is critical in ensuring that our projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties
- Develop and manage operational metrics from pre-construction to completion of projects; commencement of bid, approval, schedule, coordination, planning, safety protocol and compliance.
- Attends pre-bid meetings and site walks ensuring sufficient understanding of the job scope.
- Manage project financials including bids, invoicing and forecasts
- Plan and coordinate operation of multiple projects with team leads utilizing progress reports and deficiencies
- Utilize software such as Agtek, Trimble and CAD when necessary
- Intentionally collects information through available industry trends and applies it to the management process to deliver an accurate, well organized, detailed and timely project.
- Provides excellent client service and encourage growth and repeat business by establishing and maintaining successful business relationships.
- Cultivate rapport with team while leading team, prioritizing safety and quality
- Ability to navigate change and transition as needed with scope of work, employee pool, weather, permitting etc.
Requirements
- 3 years required (6 years preferred) of Project Management
- Strong leadership and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in estimating software Agtek, Trimble and CAD
- 8 years dirt experience
- Complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts effectively.
- Excellent analytical skill with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a highly skilled heavy equipment operator is a HUGE plus to understanding our scope of work and what it will take to organize and run our projects.
- Strong background in Project Estimation, analyzing project specifications, bidding and develop accurate cost estimates.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
