Vision for this Role:
Our priority for this position is for the right person to settle in and become a part of our community. If you have a family, you’ll find many open, down-to-earth, and highly relational families ready to welcome you. We want you to be encouraged by a healthy leadership culture and to bring fresh ideas as we develop and implement a new youth ministry model this fall. More than anything, our highest priority is for you to become one of us and grow as a disciple, because we believe that’s essential to practicing the way of Jesus and expanding His kingdom.
In worship, we desire our gatherings to continue offering engaging music paired with thoughtful contemplation through timeless liturgy. We have a strong core of talented musicians, but we’d love to see new talent discovered and developed.
Our volunteer youth leadership team has provided stable, outstanding leadership for years. Currently, we have 15–20 students in our middle and high school ministry, but we are positioned for growth, with those numbers expected to double in the next two years as our 4th and 5th graders move up. We are actively investing in developing a more robust, incarnational youth ministry over the next few years. Toward that end, this fall we’d like to prioritize spending more time where youth already are and increasing our meeting frequency. Our prayer is that this will cultivate a generation of grace-empowered students who love others and serve Jesus for the rest of their lives.
