What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Ventures Associate position at Redesign Health?
As our New Ventures Associate, you will work alongside Redesign Health and our external partners to launch innovative business concepts and ideas.
You will spearhead the research, prototyping, and launch for new Operating Companies in the healthcare space, working cross-functionally across Redesign’s New Business Development, Strategy & Finance, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Legal teams as you evaluate and build new businesses.
This position is based in Los Angeles, and we ask that you be onsite 3–4 days per week in our LA office.

What You Will Do
- Explore and analyze markets in the healthcare industry ripe for innovation
- Aid in the development of thematic research to identify ideas for new operating companies
- Collaborate within New Ventures to identify and develop innovative business plans in the healthcare space
- Build financial models and assess KPIs to support funding decisions in collaboration with New Ventures leadership
- Identify key efficiency opportunities in Redesign’s approach to identifying, building, and scaling their businesses
- Background:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree with a record of high academic achievement
- You have 2 years of experience in investment banking, investing (PE / VC firm) or management consulting
- You have experience in market diligence, business plan creation, and business analysis
- You have proven experience building and leading financial and quantitative analyses in a business environment
- Healthcare experience
