ABOUT THE ROLE - Wix Web Designer & Developer

• We are seeking an experienced front-end Wix web developer with a strong skillset in responsive web design and a keen eye for layout and composition. This role primarily focuses on designing and developing engaging, user-friendly websites using WYSIWYG platforms – Wix Classic Editor and Wix Studio Editor. While the focus is on responsive web development, the position may involve occasional branding and design projects to support cohesive visual identities for our web clients.
• The ideal candidate will be able to translate creative concepts into functional, visually stunning websites that deliver excellent user experiences across all devices and support client goals. They should also be skilled in Figma, designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality front-end builds while ensuring all designs align with client goals and brand standards.

SCHEDULE

Full-Time, 35 hrs / week, M-F

Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive, user-friendly websites using WYSIWYG platforms, including the Wix Classic Editor and Wix Studio Editor.

Use Figma to create detailed wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new site pages, as well as design revamps, ensuring layouts align with client objectives and brand guidelines.

Collaborate closely with marketing teammates, account managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions.

Execute front-end development tasks with precision, ensuring websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across all devices.

Work efficiently with project managers to meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and optimize project workflows.

Identify and implement innovative web solutions to improve user experience and engagement for prospects, leads, and customers.

Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in web builds, ensuring seamless functionality and a high-quality standard.

Qualifications

Qualification to Work with RedFork Marketing :

Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Graphic Design, or equivalent professional experience.

Expertise in UI / UX design principles and best practices, focusing on creating seamless, user-friendly experiences across devices.

Extensive experience with content management systems, specifically Wix (including Wix Classic Editor and Wix Studio Editor). Bonus points for proficiency in Squarespace, WordPress, or other platforms.

Proven ability to design and develop fully responsive webpages optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop, ensuring consistent functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Strong commitment to staying current with the latest trends in web development, UI / UX design, and emerging technologies.

Familiarity with Apple Macintosh OS and the ability to leverage design tools and software effectively within the ecosystem.

Bonus Skills

Proficiency in developing and implementing front-end web code using clean, semantic standards such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with additional coding languages (Wix Velo).

Graphic design skills with the ability to utilize design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, or other similar software to create assets and enhance website aesthetics.

A foundational understanding of digital marketing concepts, including :

Inbound and content marketing strategies to drive user engagement.

Planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including landing pages and email integration.

Development and management of content marketing calendars for social media, blogs, video, and other digital channels.

Experience with optimizing web pages for SEO and performance metrics to enhance visibility and usability.

Knowledge of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure inclusive design and development practices.
