What You Can Expect Working in the Sales Compliance Specialist Position

The Sales Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing sales agreements and related processes prior to quote generation. This role requires close collaboration with sales, legal, and finance teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution of agreements. Key duties include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, reconciling purchase orders with contract terms, handling pre-qualification documentation, and managing bid submissions via customer procurement portals.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update sales agreements to align with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Work with sales and legal teams to confirm purchase orders’ accuracy and alignment with contracts, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and certifications required by customers.
  • Manage and submit bid documents through customer procurement portals, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
  • Assist in contract negotiations, addressing risks and discrepancies in collaboration with legal and sales teams.
  • Maintain master service agreements (MSAs), templates, and centralized document repositories.
  • Coordinate with sales, finance, legal, and operations teams to support alignment across departments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of sales agreements and contract management
  • Experience with purchase order reconciliation and customer procurement portals
