Role Description
We are looking for an accounting consultant with a passion for accounting and financial data analysis, and an ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. As an Accounting Consultant, you will be the key connector between our client’s accounting and operational teams and our company. You will lead multiple tasks in accounting and finance, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner. You'll collaborate with both client and RedHammer resources, plus be responsible for delivering useful insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Act as an essential liaise between clients' accounting and operational teams and RedHammer.
- Ensure the precise completion of all accounting tasks.
- Create and articulate complex financial and operational data to stakeholders in a straightforward manner.
- Analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Explain the financial and operational data to stakeholders (client, CPAs, Insurance companies, and bankers)
- Collaborate smoothly with both client and RedHammer resources.
- Lead the training of client end-users on RedHammer accounting principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Understanding of both basic and advanced accounting and financial principles.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire your team.
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional client service and a responsive attitude.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- A readiness to continue learning and work towards obtaining industry certifications.
- Plus Experience in managing multiple clients concurrently.
- Plus Expertise with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Foundation.
