What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Product Development Manager position at Redhook Global Talent?
We are working exclusively on a brand new role with a new client that is looking to hire an experienced Senior Product Development Manager to be based at their plant in Vermont.
As the Senior Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the innovation and development of new products for retail customers and managing existing product development improvement projects.
The role will manage projects from concept to execution, ensuring that products are developed to the company standard and customer and market expectations.
This is a truly unique role, as this will be working for an Australian meat business that is expanding it’s US presence. This is a brand-new role for the US division, so you have the opportunity to be here at the start, which is very exciting.
Also part of this role will be helping the business to identify and partner with third party manufacturers, which will mean some travel across the US where necessary, and also to the HQ in Australia from time to time.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in R&D, NPD, Product Innovation within meat, and someone who is highly knowledgeable of the US retail market.
Understanding of USDA Organic and high claims regulatory requirements would be a big plus.
