About the Role
Redhorse Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Resource Efficiency Manager II to contribute significantly to the Army's energy goals at the prestigious West Point Academy. This crucial role directly impacts the Academy's sustainability initiatives, ensuring responsible resource utilization and contributing to a more resilient and energy-efficient campus. You will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and implementing energy-saving projects, leveraging your expertise to achieve substantial cost savings and environmental benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze utility data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of high energy consumption.
- Conduct energy audits of West Point Academy facilities to assess energy efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in updating the Installation Energy & Water Plan (IEWP) and annual energy reports, ensuring compliance with Army regulations.
- Identify and implement energy efficiency projects, from concept development to completion.
- Provide guidance on energy project funding mechanisms, including the Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program (ERCIP), Utility Energy Service Contracts (UESC), Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC), and other available sources.
- Advise on measurement and verification protocols to ensure the effectiveness of implemented energy projects.
- Provide expertise on relevant Executive Orders and other energy policies impacting the Army and West Point Academy.
- Assist in developing and executing awareness and behavioral change campaigns to promote responsible energy and water use among staff and cadets. This includes educating users on best practices in consumption of natural gas, electricity, coal, water, and wastewater.
