Key Responsibilities
- Serve as site lead for remote maintenance and refresh efforts across 8 geographically dispersed sites
- Travel to each site at least annually for in-person maintenance and upgrade activities
- Maintain daily interaction with partner entities to ensure proper system integration and functionality
- Engage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as needed
- Perform data validation post-software deployment
- Submit Data Migration Reports (DMRs) for data flow path problems and fixes
- Configure new software updates
- Perform system troubleshooting
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; OR five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Seven (7) years’ experience as a systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Experience with NiFi and Linux
- Experience in Linux and Ciena for system administration, troubleshooting, software loading, and configuration of telecom networks and software packages
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
