Title: Retail Service Advisor (RSA) Shift Lead
A Dispensary Shift Lead serves as the frontline supervisor entrusted with the responsibilities of opening and closing, overseeing all RSA duties, and acting as a vital link between customers and Redi's management. With a focus on ensuring operational excellence, Shift Leaders meticulously oversee RSA interactions and transactions to uphold the highest standards of service. They are dedicated to enhancing the customer experience by actively providing feedback on operational procedures, customer interactions, and RSA performance, striving for continuous improvement. It is agreed upon hire that all leads are willing to work at both or either location, Newton and Natick, to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Dispensary Operations: Adhere to Redi Policies and Procedures for daily dispensary operations, handling unforeseen circumstances as they arise.
- Comply with Regulations: Understand and adhere to CCC regulations. Ensure that staff are conducting transactions in accordance with state guidelines and that any potential violations are quickly noted and corrected.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Coach, shadow, ensure staff meet company standards for customer engagement, professionalism, and adherence to policies. Correct errors promptly and communicate shortcomings to management.
- Manage Opening and Closing Duties: Ensure completion of nightly deposit, in-house cleaning, and other open and close responsibilities. Prioritize positive customer interactions, product knowledge, sales tactics, upselling, and de-escalation techniques.
- Attendance: Demonstrate the utmost commitment to punctuality and regular attendance, recognizing its critical role in maintaining smooth dispensary operations and providing consistent service to customers.
- Provide Feedback: Offer feedback to leadership regarding staff concerns, operational procedures, and customer experiences to foster continuous improvement.
- Utilize Proper Communication Channels:Employees must utilize proper channels of communication to update staff and management (messaging platform, walkie talkies, email)
- Contribute to Company Culture: Participate in shared tasks and responsibilities to reinforce company culture.
- Maintain Privacy and Confidentiality: Ensure staff maintain the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
- Floating and Customer Interaction: Greet customers on the floor and utilize displays for more personal interaction, enhancing the overall customer experience and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Resolve Customer Conflicts: Resolve customer conflicts or complaints promptly to build long-term customer relationships and brand loyalty.
- Performance Metrics: Strive to meet or exceed required performance metrics, ensuring individual goals are achieved for overall dispensary success. (See Metric SOP)
- POS Management: Demonstrate comprehensive POS skills to maintain and manage important information accurately.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve any drawer errors during closeout
- Bank Deposit Preparation: Prepare bank deposits accurately, reflecting facility totals as required for timely deposit.- including customer hourly tracking
- Train New Staff: Train and supervise new RSA staff on relevant policies, systems, product, and methods needed to perform their duties at a superior standard.
- Flexible Schedule: Be willing to adjust shifts according to business needs, including nights and weekends. It is a business requirement to maintain 5 full days of availability, including 1 weekend day, to retain full-time lead status.
- Interact with Local Officials: Communicate effectively with local officials, demonstrating a high level of interpersonal skills.
- Store Appearance: Ensure the dispensary maintains a clean, organized, and visually appealing appearance. Including cleaning, stocking, merchandising, promotional materials.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Be prepared to perform any other duties or tasks assigned by management.
