As a Systems Technician, you must bring excitement to learning three critical roles:

1*. Troubleshooting* a wide variety of products including, but not limited to: access control systems and devices, CCTV cameras and monitoring, home automation, home and commercial security systems and devices, low voltage lighting and control systems, home audio and video, and much more! Strong research and problem-solving skills are key for this position.

2*. Set up and install* the various components that make up the fabric of our business. This includes but not limited to, access control, CCTV, Networking Equipment, Audio Video Equipment, Control Systems, and Conferencing Systems.

3*. Work with your supervisor to establish and pursue a growth path* that best fits your desires. We will provide on-the-job training. In the systems technician position…

Qualifications and Education

• Must have demonstrated success and aptitude utilizing hand and power tools. General knowledge of basic construction principles.
• Must be a self-starter with a strong desire and eagerness to learn, grown and take responsibility in technology field
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work to deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong research and analytical skills with logical approaches to problem-solving
• Must be adaptable with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Visio
• Certifications with experience and computer background are desirable
• Must be able to effectively provide courteous and competent customer service while receiving and making phone call.
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
• Must have a current valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to get to work
• Must be able to work an occasional night or weekend when necessary
• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

Working Conditions

Settings include office work, residential homes, commercial properties, and industrial businesses. Systems Technicians work in all weather conditions while out in the field, and may be required to work from high ladders/lifts, access attic-style spaces and damp basements.

Physical Requirements

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in either office or field setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to but not limited to 80lbs; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
