Job Description:
Reding’s Gravel & Excavating is a full service, site work contractor. We offer a broad range of services including general excavating, site preparation, underground utilities, farm drainage, custom crushing and material sales & hauling. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Heavy Equipment Operators, Laborers and Truck Drivers in Algona and Storm Lake, IA. We are a reputable employer offering competitive, experience-based pay and excellent benefits to our employees.
Heavy Equipment Operator:
- Operators are responsible for safely and effectively operating various types of equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.)
- Must have a valid driver’s license, Class A CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must have experience in operating equipment
General Requirements:
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials and machinery
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime
