What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquatic Aide position at Redington-Fairview General Hospital?
Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) has been providing care as an independent, community hospital in Skowhegan, Maine since 1952. Today, RFGH is a 25-bed critical access facility that provides health care for more than 30,000 residents living in Somerset County, which extends from Skowhegan to the Canadian border. Working in a fun and supportive team environment, this position’s responsibilities include lifeguarding, provision of water fitness instruction, assisting with pool and facility cleaning, and checking in visitors. Current lifeguard and WSI swim instruction certification desired; however, training may be provided.
Status: Part Time 26 hours, M-F.
Qualities: Effective teamwork, flexibility, patience, and courtesy towards patients, patrons, and other staff are essential.
Requirements: Lifeguard and WSI certification preferred, but not required. Candidate must be willing and capable of obtaining such certifications.
