What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Dietitian position at Redington-Fairview General Hospital?
The Somerset Public Health (SPH) Administrative Financial Analyst (AFA) is responsible for the day to day fiscal management of the community health grant programs in support of the Project Director and Staff. The Financial Analyst functions as a liaison between Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) fiscal managers/departments, the Project Director (PD) and SPH Staff. The AFA shall assist the Project Director as requested regarding all financial matters and decisions, and shall be responsible for maintenance and review of all grant budgets, expenses and grantor payments for accuracy, allowable costs and work plan financial spending. The AFA shall analyze grant financial data as requested and create reports with reliable conclusions to assist PD with management of grant programs and staff.
The clinical dietitian performs nutritional assessments, develops and implements care plans, provides nutrition education and coordinates nutritional care for hospital in patients with kitchen staff. They also provide medical nutrition therapy for outpatients.
Status: Flexible hours, 30 hours/week, ability to work every third or forth weekend
Qualities: The ability to work independently, but also collaborate with healthcare professionals and the nutrition services team while providing patient-centered care is a must.
Requirements: State of Maine Dietitian License, Registered Dietitian by CDR or new graduates who are eligible to take the registration exam
