Medical Assistant Trainee
Earn as you learn! RFGH is seeking candidates for the all-expense paid Medical Assistant Training Program.
Medical Assistant trainees must commit to 20 hours per week of education and on-the-job training from March 10th through June 13th. Trainees will learn the clinical and administrative skills necessary to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam through the National Healthcareer Association. Upon completion of the program and earning the CCMA credential, trainees are guaranteed an interview for a full-time position at RFGH.
The program consists of online modules (reading, tests, simulations, etc.), weekly in-class instruction, and workplace experience. Attendance at Wednesday evening classes from 4:00-7:00pm, as well as all scheduled clinical hours on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s throughout the program, is required.
Status: Part time, 20 hours per week.
Qualities: Great interpersonal and organizational skills required, as well as flexibility and willingness to learn. Must be able to multitask and have computer and typing skills. Commitment to providing high quality patient-centered care is a must.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
