What You'll Do as a Oncology Coordinator :
The oncology coordinator is the dedicated advocate for all oncology needs throughout the member's treatments.Coordinates for chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical oncology.Obtain all pertinent treatment details specific to the treatment plan and check against plan benefits for accurate service coverage.Partner with clinical care teams to ensure a seamless experience for the member and their family across the entire continuum of their treatment.Obtains cost details for treatment and will act as the financial advocate to educate and assist members on available resources to support their financial needs to ensure coverage as needed.Work closely with leadership and across departments to ensure the best care solution for the member.Communicates continually with members, other departments, and care providers to ensure appropriate plans and protocols are followed.Performs general office responsibilities, including typing and answering telephone / client inquiries.Documents and maintains accurate member records in EMR.Act as a positive, collaborative team player by being flexible to achieve the mission of Redirect Health.Performs other duties as required.What We're Looking For :
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and an Electronic Medical Record system, Preferred.High School or GED - Minimum Required1-2 Years of case management, customer Service, and / or other experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)1-2 Years of Oncology / Surgery Coordination experience, preferredWhat You'll Earn :
