ReDiscover is seeking a Clinical Director to add to our Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center!

ReDiscover has been known for over 50 years as a non-profit community mental health center in southeastern Jackson County, Missouri with a mission of delivering efficient and cost-effective treatment for the people we serve. WHAT WE DO
CPRC is a case management focused program that provides individuals with support to live an independent life in the community. Through a variety of multidisciplinary services that clients can choose from including medication management, therapy, group therapy, health and wellness support, employment services and transportation support, clients can develop skills, access resources and learn ways to manage their emotional and physical health.
At ReDiscover, while every day is different, a typical day may include the following roles and responsibilities:
- Direct supervisory responsibilities include supervision of staff, Team Leaders, after-hours staffing, and all department-related staff.
- Significant cooperation with internal sources (administration, program managers, etc…) and external sources (police, courts, managed care companies, and all other referral sources), to ensure that the services provided are of the highest quality, accessible in a timely fashion, and produce positive outcomes for those we serve.
- Provides feedback and reports to appropriate management staff and, as appropriate, to funding sources.
- Actively participates in a variety of cross-functional teams and performance improvement initiatives, services shall be provided, and administrative duties conducted in accordance with the standards of clinical practice established by the State of Missouri, the Federal Government (including various agencies), the policies and procedures of ReDiscover, and the contractual requirements of all payers.
- Develops rapport and assure compliance with the standards, regulations, and laws of the DEA, Department of Mental Health and CARF accreditation.
- Educates and reduce the stigma within the community on substance use treatment.
- Assures compliance with standards, regulations, and laws and works with other leadership staff to ensure the financial viability of assigned service areas.
We are focused on your development and will spend time helping you continue to grow as a Clinical Director. However, here are some that you will need prior to starting with ReDiscover:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric nursing, counseling, or other related mental health fields that would qualify for licensure in the State of Missouri.
- Must have a valid clinical license in the State of Missouri (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PMHNP).
- At least five (5) years of clinical experience in a direct service provision to adults and/or children in a mental health setting is required.
- At least three (3) years of supervisory and management of mid-level employees experience is required.
- A valid automobile driver’s license, appropriate automobile insurance and a safe, reliable, registered automobile available for use during work
- Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders
- Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite
