ReDiscover is seeking a Office Manager to add to our Therapy Program!

WHAT WE DO
The Adult and Family Services (AFS) Therapy Program is the outpatient therapy department of ReDiscover. This program provides support to clients from all backgrounds, ages, needs, and often to those who have difficulties seeking treatment elsewhere. The AFS Therapy Program provides both telehealth and in-person sessions which gives clinical staff flexibility to work from home a few days each week.
At ReDiscover, while every day is different, a typical day may include the following roles and responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service to clients upon entry.
- Coordinates services between different departments.
- Coordinates scheduling for front office staff.
- Approves time cards of supervised employees.
- Actively hires, trains, and supervises front office staff.
- Leads and directs office-related projects.
- Provides supervision for front office staff, including development meetings, coaching opportunities, and corrective action.
- Assisting front office staff with daily tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, taking payments, etc…
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Actively participates in leadership meetings.
- Acts with integrity by observing ReDiscover policy/procedures, accreditation standards, laws, and ethics.
- Supports the strategic goals and mission/vision/values of ReDiscover when interacting with clients, co-workers, and community stakeholders.
- Contributes to the mission of ReDiscover by adjusting work priorities and duties as needed to meet unforeseen demands.
- Exhibits independent discretion and judgment with respect to matters of significance on a daily basis.
Qualifications
We are focused on your development and will spend time helping you continue to grow as a Office Manager. However, here are some things that you will need prior to starting with ReDiscover:
- Available to work a full-time schedule (40-hours a week), Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- High School Diploma or GED, preference given to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree.
- (One to three) years of progressive secretarial experience preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to utilize confidential material such as Electronic Medical Records
- Previous experience handling a large volume of incoming calls.
- Previous experience effectively leading and managing staff with various personalities.
- Experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting and/or working with clients who have a severe and persistent mental illness or substance use disorder.
- Understanding the function of nonprofits, specifically within behavioral healthcare is preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-Driven individual with a customer service focus.
- Team-Oriented and skilled in collaborating with others.
- Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite.
