What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Operations Assistant Manager position at Redkey Express LLC?
As the Appliance Operations Assistant Manager, you will assist in the strategic planning and management of our operational processes, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work with the Operations Manager on daily assignments and assist in leading initiatives that optimize operations and drive performance. Your mechanical knowledge and experience in general appliance and equipment repair will be essential in guiding our field service teams to success. The routine schedule would be daily hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Additional time may be required depending on workload and capacities. Expected weekly hours 45-50.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Delivery and installation of appliances - Provide direction and instruction to delivery teams resulting in quality delivery and efficient operations.
- Reporting and performance analysis daily - Provide accurate and detailed operational reports along with recommendations and improvements methods.
- Communication - Report clear and concise information daily to the customer, external vendors, and company management. Delivery of daily instructions and goals in accordance with meeting expectations set forth by the customer.
- Reviews - Daily assessment of staff performance and efficiencies.
- Training - Conducting routine appliance installation training programs monthly.
- Recruiting - Partner with Human Resources on recruiting needed staff and talents, as well as all retention efforts.
- Compliance Training - Continued education in safety, skills, technology and processes for company practices and policies.
- Customer Service - Performing daily tasks and duties with the highest level of positive and professional integrity.
- Organizations - Systematically perform and execute daily tasks in an efficient manner that meets expectations.
- Check equipment inventory every day during vehicle inspection, ensuring they are equipped and serviceable
- Dispatch daily assignments to all Associates
- View and approve deliveries and install from each crew daily. Make sure they were completed on time and correctly through Dispatch Track.
- Training and Evaluation - Continuous Training for Driving and Installation, to Develop the Associate from Satisfactory to Proficient within their Roles and Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in appliance installation
- Strong Leadership skills
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and random drug tests
- Proficient with basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and programs and ability to learn new technology
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics
- Background in field service and customer service
- Experience as a delivery driver and operating box trucks
- Skills in equipment repair and assembly, with a focus on service technician duties
