To meet our growing business demands, Redland is seeking full-time Landscape Architects Project Managers with 8-12 years of experience. Candidates should have a personable and friendly attitude, be proactive, and enjoy interacting, supporting, and serving clients and other team members.
As a Project Manager for landscape architecture , you will provide, at a minimum, the following duties :
- Oversee projects from project visioning to master planning and through site design and construction, including coordination of sub-consultants, internal project teams, and project research activities such as site analysis and data collection.
- Direct the preparation of land planning and landscape architectural deliverables, including graphic exhibits, concept plans, construction plans, project details, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate and lead work sessions with clients, technical advisory groups, and stakeholders during project visioning, design development, and construction document phases.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently at various stages, collaborating with other internal practice area managers and sub-consultants to maintain design integrity, consistency, and quality.
- Participate in project entitlement process, coordinating with review agencies, addressing plan review comments, and representing the project in key meetings.
- Provide technical oversight and conduct quality assessments of deliverables to ensure work meets or exceeds both the firm's standards and client expectations, focusing on thoroughness, accuracy, and completeness.
- Actively manage project budgeting, staffing, and workflow, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, offering constructive feedback, delegating tasks, and promoting quality accountability across the team.
- Provide leadership and direction as a technical expert and advisor, fostering team growth through mentorship, career development initiatives, and professional knowledge enhancement.
- Drive strategic initiatives and participate in business development activities, including client networking, project scouting, and proposal preparation, contributing to the overall success of the firm.
- Perform other duties as required.
