What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) position at Redlands Community Hospital - INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU)?
Registered Nurse New Graduate Application Period: January 10, 2025 - January 22, 2025 (or once maximum applications reached)
To be considered, NCLEX test date must be scheduled by January 24, 2025.
Program Start Date: March 10, 2025 (10-16 weeks must be available for didactics and clinical preceptorship no exceptions)
Certifications Required:- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association) within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS certificate required within 6 months of hire
Successful passing of RCH basic arrhythmia course within 6 months of hire for a new grad RN and new to specialty.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the staff RN performs professional role functions in accordance with scope of practice and professional standards, including demonstrating the knowledge and ability to use and/or lead the scope of practice, professional standards and accreditation / regulatory standards, scope of practice for LVN and all other nursing personnel e.g. unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the ability to assess their own professional role performance, current knowledge of theory and principles related to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use a population based approach to determine patient needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current CA State licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
2. Current American Heart Association BLS.
