What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist position at Redlands Community Hospital - LABORATORY?
Reporting to Laboratory supervisory personnel, this position is responsible for performing phlebotomy of venous blood collection on all hospital patients and on contracted client facilities. Provides support services relating to specimen collection and processing, order processing on outpatients and telephone response.
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician license for the state of California required.
- Minimum of one year of blood drawing experience preferred.
- Current Management of Assaulted Behavior (MAB) required within 6 months of hire.
