What are the responsibilities and job description for the C.N.A./Nursing Assistant position at Redlands Community Hospital?

Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and according to established procedure, performs routine service duties and basic patient / resident care procedures necessary to provide comfort and safety of patients. In doing so, takes vital signs, assists patients with personal hygiene and feeds and ambulates patients / residents. Maintains patient / resident environment in a clean and orderly condition.
Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred; required if assigned to the TCU.
- Current CPR certification required (American Heart Association only)
- One year experience in acute hospital setting preferred.
- MAB certificate required within 6-months of hire.
