As a valued member of the Redlands Community Hospital team, reporting directly to the Food and Nutrition Services Director, this position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional food service experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for patients, staff, and catered events, adhering to strict standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality meals for patient services, cafeteria, and catering events
- Follow established recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence
- Provide outstanding customer service and support to patients and staff at all times
- Assist in training and orienting lower-level cooks and new team members
- Participate in catering events, including preparation, setup, delivery, and serving of food
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience in food production
- Catering experience preferred
- Proven ability to prepare and present high-quality food
- Food Handler's card issued by San Bernardino County required
