Financial Counselor I

Under direct supervision of the Admitting/Financial Counseling Director/Supervisor, this position is responsible for the counseling and effective management of in-patient accounts, and maintaining cordial patient relations.

Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:

1. One-year experience in a financial counseling or financial institution environment, or one-year experience in a hospital Admitting/ER Registration environment required.
2. High School diploma or equivalent required.
3. Customer service and Computer skills experience required.
