What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN - Family Clinics position at Redlands Community Hospital?
Reporting to the Lead LVN, Family Clinic, Community Based (Outreach) Programs and Services, this position provides primarily back office support performing various technical duties. May also perform front office duties. such as scheduling patient appointments, patient registration, answering telephones, maintaining medical records, determining program eligibility and billing. Collects essential health, medical, and biographical information from the patient or the patient’s parent/legal guardian to be placed into the medical record. Performs and assists the providers with basic procedures adhering to scope of training and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current California License as a Vocational Nurse
- Current California Blood withdrawal certificate required as evidenced by primary source verification of licensure.
- One year of experience as an LVN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification required.
- Typing and computer skills required.
- Ability to read, write and speak the Spanish language required.
- Experience in a family practice and/or community clinic setting preferred.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
- One year of experience as an LVN preferred.

- Current California License as a Vocational Nurse
