Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join our dynamic team for the summer of 2025. As an Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our Accounting Department, gaining exposure to various financial processes and contributing to projects that support the company's operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of accounting within a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform reconciliations for accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Help prepare financial reports and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with the team to improve accounting processes and workflows.
- Conduct data entry and ensure accuracy in financial systems.
- Support ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying accounting principles in a real-world setting.
