About the Position:
The Precision Farming Specialist retails, installs, educates, consults, and supports customers providing value through the technology of precision farming products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Highly align with our company Mission and Core Values.
- Meet with customers to promote Precision Ag Technology products and services.
- Consult, recommend, sell, deliver, and install new precision farming products and services.
- Provide support for software and hardware on agriculture equipment’s electronic monitoring and application systems.
- Assist sales with precision farming grower meetings and sales calls.
- Conduct product meetings, demonstrations, and equipment deliveries with customers and sales personnel.
- Stay current on features, benefits, and value of new technologies in order to make informed recommendations.
- Provide education and training to dealership staff regarding Precision Ag Technology’s agronomic advantages.
- Provide support to internal and external customers on Precision Ag hardware.
Qualifications or Requirements:
- Associates degree in Agricultural Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Precision Ag hardware installation and sales.
- Working knowledge of farm products and practices, diagnostic and servicing procedures, and GPS/GIS software.
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Passion for the evolving technology of Precision Agriculture.
