Responsibilities:
- Supervise Service Department staff to develop and sustain a high level of employee performance and morale that is highly aligned with our mission and core values.
- Align and implement company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Bulletins and Campaigns
- Coordinate the scheduling of service work according to priority and maintains a consistent orderly workflow.
- Advises customers of necessary repair services and preventative maintenance
- Ensure that customer issues are resolved promptly according to company guidelines.
- Adhere to company’s work in process policy.
- Promptly evaluates and reconditions trade-in equipment.
- Ensures warranty claims are processed according to policy.
- Completes PIP and campaigns according to manufacturer guidelines
- Maintains in good condition all service tools and service vehicles.
- Responsible for the maintaining safe facility, equipment, and operations.
- Ensures service vehicles and drivers are properly maintained, road worthy, safe and in compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately, to dealer standards and inspects all completed work as appropriate.
- Accountable for time record accuracy within the department including overtime, on call scheduling, and vacation approval.
- Responsible for keeping shop area clean.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications or Requirements:
- High School Diploma /GED required, with a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in experience preferred
- Service/mechanical experience working with farm or other heavy equipment and/or diesel engines
- Proven track record in customer service and communications required
- Ability to use desktop or laptop computer, including Microsoft Office Suites is required.
