Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire sprinkler systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Stay current with industry standards and advancements in fire protection technology.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a related field.
- Denver license or ability to obtain in reasonable time frame.
- Back Flow License (preferred)
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
