AUTOMOTIVE/TRANSMISSION TECHNICIAN
JOIN OUR TEAM! RedLine Transmissions is growing, and we're looking to add a skilled and motivated Automotive/Transmission/R&R Technician to our crew.
We specialize in high-performance and heavy-duty transmission builds for Cummins and Duramax light-duty pickup trucks (2500–3500 series) — and we need a technician who knows these trucks inside and out.

Responsibilities
- Removal and reinstallation of performance diesel transmissions.
- Performs routine services such as transmission fluid and filter changes, oil changes and other maintenance services offered by RedLine Transmissions
- Maintain shop and keep working areas organized and clean.
- Manage work orders and paperwork.
- Assist other techs with jobs on property.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems related to transmissions.
- Inspect all received parts against the packing list for accuracy, organize and store them in their designated locations.
- Track customer parts for upcoming jobs/projects and maintain stock the organization of stock parts.
- Responsible for the organizing, picking and pulling parts for online orders
- Manage and fill parts sales and online orders in a timely fashion.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technician or similar role.
Must own basic tools.
Stable work history with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience (training provided for the right candidate)
Valid Drivers License.
Strong mechanical knowledge and skills.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to bend, move, lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
