Job Description
Redlund Equipment is now accepting applications for experienced Parts Manager in Yuma, Colorado Preferred applicants will have 3 years’ experience with agricultural parts business. Required skills include excellent customer relationship and computer skills, understanding of financial management and inventory knowledge. Must be able to lift 75 lbs, extended periods of walking, standing and bending will be required. Salary range based on experience $60,000-$75,000/year plus bonus.
JOB SUMMARY: Oversee a variety of customer service, merchandising, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties. Position is responsible for supervising and operating a profitable, safe, efficient, and effective parts dept.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance): Supervise parts department employees including interviewing, hiring, and performance management; conduct reviews and determine wage increases; setting work schedules, assigning locations, and monitoring workload; providing opportunities for training and growth. Monitor key performance indicators to ensure the dept. is running as effectively as possible. Promote and merchandise parts and accessories using all appropriate advertising methods. Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system. Recruit, recommend and train parts personnel to support customer service requirements. Control and maintain proper paper flow in the Dept. Conduct a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories. Attend schools & seminars as directed by senior management.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong sales and sales management skills
- Experience with retail sales and inventory management
- Previous experience in developing and coaching a high performance sales team
-Prefer knowledge and experience with servicing Agriculture equipment, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them
- Experience with Point-of-Sale and Parts & Service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge & experience with computers
- inventory control and apply that knowledge to maintain an accurate inventory.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required.
