The Role

RedMane is seeking an experienced Accountant for the Accounting/Finance Team. This role will report to the Director of Operational Finance.

Responsibilities include:

• Monthly account reconciliations as required
• Assist in month-end financial close, including but not limited to: adjusting journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue and expense analyses, and preparation of financial statements
• Reporting monthly cash flow activity, summarizing in a pivot table
• Maintaining all Lease Accounting records, including third-party cloud-based lease records and activity, monthly journal entries, disclosure tables and reconciliations
• Miscellaneous account analyses such as departmental spend, margin analysis, and project profitability, as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting or commensurate experience in the field of Accounting

·        Three years’ experience in the following areas:

• Preparing account reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end close of financial period, including preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements
• Summarizing and reporting monthly cash flow activity
• Microsoft Office Suite intermediate proficiency, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excel experience should include fluency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.
• Experience working with a General Ledger/ERP system, preferably for multiple divisions/entities.

The position will be required to be onsite five days a week in the RedMane Chicago office for approximately the first 90 days for training and evaluation. Upon successful completion of assigned responsibilities, the position may be eligible for up to two days a week remote work.
