Position Summary: As a SailPoint Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing IdentityIQ software solutions. You will play a key role in developing and configuring code to support various components of the IdentityIQ solution, utilizing your expertise in XML, Java, BeanShell, and other technologies. Your knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar platforms will be crucial in implementing and configuring IAM solutions, providing support, and advising on zero-trust ICAM enterprise architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing IdentityIQ software solutions.
- Develop and configure code for all components of the IdentityIQ solution.
- Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and implement technology that adds value to the organization.
- Implement and configure SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) to ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Develop provisioning functionality, data mapping rules, and efficient workflows within the SailPoint ecosystem.
- Provide comprehensive support for end-to-end development and deployments, including user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective solutions.
- Continuously enhance and optimize SailPoint configurations to align with evolving business needs.
- Stay current with SailPoint IIQ updates and industry best practices to drive ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with security and identity management teams to design and implement robust identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.
- Contribute to the design and development of zero-trust ICAM enterprise architectures.
- Utilize extensive experience in implementing ICAM solutions to advise on and shape architectural strategies.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SailPoint-related functional and technical issues.
- Develop and deploy new code into UAT and Production as part of the system development lifecycle.
- Identify and communicate high-level gaps and issues in primary functional areas.
- Work closely with integration stakeholders to understand requirements and drive the design, development, and implementation of IAM systems and processes.
- Implement and customize workflows, forms, rules, certifications, and connectors.
- Resolve issues highlighted during System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including implementation, configuration, and support is required.
- Proficiency in programming languages including REST API, AWS, Jenkins, Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of IdentityIQ configuration and IdentityIQ API.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, access certification, and role-based access control is required.
- Experience with integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and on-premises systems is required.
- Proficiency in developing custom rules, connectors, and workflows within SailPoint IIQ is required.
- Solid understanding of identity and access governance, risk management, and compliance requirements is required.
- Knowledge of security best practices and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Participation in at least two project lifecycles related to ICAM implementations.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining strong communication with the team in Rosslyn, VA and Washington, DC.
