Redmond Law is seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities:
- Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and court appearances.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial and construction law issues.
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Manage case files and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters.
- Stay current on legal developments affecting clients and industries served by the firm.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York Bar (or eligible for admission).
- 3-7 years of experience in litigation (experience in commercial litigation or construction law is preferred but not required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in commercial and/or construction law.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
