Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our Rigging team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marine systems and equipment, demonstrating expertise in both mechanical and electrical Installs/repairs. This role involves Installing Outboard Engines, Electronics, Trolling Motors, diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring the optimal performance of various marine vessels. The Marine Technician will work closely with clients to provide exceptional service and support.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in marine vessels.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, electrical systems, and other critical components.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Weld and solder components as necessary to ensure structural integrity and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job.
- Assist in heavy lifting of equipment and parts as required during repair processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in a marine environment.
Skills
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, welding, and soldering techniques.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems related to marine applications.
- Experience as a service technician with a focus on marine equipment is preferred.
- Ability to maintain high-quality standards while working under pressure.
