POSITION TITLE: Frozen Food Manager

JOB SUMMARY: To maintain and operate all aspects of the Frozen Food Department, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Verify all deliveries against invoices, noting any discrepancies or damage and reporting them to the relevant personnel.
2. Oversee price changes within the department, maintaining accurate pricing and signage.
3. Maintain an acceptable inventory level by implementing effective ordering techniques and monitoring stock levels.
4. Properly rotate products to control freshness and remove out-of-date items, minimizing waste and optimizing product life.
5. Implement and maintain temporary price reductions for specific products, as approved by management.
6. Communicate temperature failures in cases, shelves, and storage areas to the manager in charge, ensuring prompt resolution and preventing spoilage.
7. Control damaged merchandise by reporting incidents and storing damaged items for sales representatives to collect.
8. Foster positive customer relationships through excellent communication and service skills.
9. Greet all customers upon entry and maintain a visible presence while working, promoting a welcoming store environment.
