Key Responsibilities:
- Cut and trim all merchandise according to company guidelines.
- Price and display product in cases as directed by the Meat Manager or Meat Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work, display, and storage areas.
- Communicate temperature failures to the manager in charge.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Comply with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with wrapping and packaging of product when needed.
- Receive, weigh, and break down meats and related products.
- Maintain operating equipment and follow OSHA regulations.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and write to properly tag product.
- Dexterity in hands to enable cutting and trimming of meats.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently.
- At least one year experience as a meat wrapper preferred.
