Your Role as an Audit Manager:
As an Audit Manager at Redpath, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our clients through complex financial landscapes in the following ways:
- Leadership: Oversee non-public audits and reviews for clients in the construction and real estate industries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Expert Consultation: Provide expert advice on complex transactions, including business combinations, equity structures, and compensation agreements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements and related reports that inform key business decisions.
- Research: Direct and manage research projects, bringing innovative solutions to the table.
- Mentorship: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of experienced professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Client Management: Take charge of client relationships, delivering exceptional audit services and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to department-wide initiatives, including the implementation of new audit and accounting standards.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Professional Credentials: Active CPA license.
- Experience: 5 years in public accounting, background in the construction industry preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of audit and accounting standards, with the ability to apply these to a variety of client scenarios.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 20% during peak periods).
